The Altanza Bellota 100% Ibérico ham comes from the hind leg and is machine-sliced, also in an 80 g net pack. Piece, brand and slicing method differ. The price difference cannot be explained by just one of these factors.
Match the gift to their kitchen
Sliced packs avoid home carving when the recipient has no ham stand or prefers convenience. For a whole-piece gift, first check that they have a stand and suitable knife. An 80 g pack is not equivalent to the usable contents of a whole piece.
