For your Bergen order, choose Ibérico ham or explore the Gran Reserva Duroc selection. This guide compares Duroc ham and shoulder ham: two different anatomical pieces to choose between before selecting a slicing service.
Bergen: Gran Reserva Duroc ham or shoulder ham
Gran Reserva Duroc ham comes from the hind leg; Gran Reserva Duroc shoulder ham comes from the foreleg. Duroc is not Ibérico or a grade within Ibérico. The shared Gran Reserva Duroc designation does not make these equivalent units: we do not assume equal weight, usable yield, curing or flavour. To slice at home, select a whole piece and check that reference’s product page. To receive it sliced, choose the service for that same piece. The price per unit tells you what you pay for the chosen reference, but does not establish an equal cost per usable net kilogram.
Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.
Choose slicing without swapping the supplements
For ham, machine slicing adds €59 and hand slicing €70; for shoulder ham, the supplements are €39 and €50 respectively. Each is already included in the full price of its variant and must not be added again. Compare ham and shoulder in the same presentation, then check the total for the unit you will receive. Machine slicing requires 48 hours of preparation and hand slicing 72 hours; these are preparation times, not transport times to Bergen. A bone-in piece does not establish a number of 80 g packs or guaranteed servings. You can choose one reference without buying both. Check the specific label for ingredients, allergens and storage.
Bergen: Laksevåg and Årstad in the recipient’s address
Bergen’s municipal information identifies Laksevåg and Årstad as bydeler, or city districts. Use these names to recognise the recipient’s directions, without deriving a postcode or replacing the complete address. Preserve the Norwegian street and district names, including å and ø, as supplied. Include the actual letterbox or doorbell name and agree who will receive a gift. Bergen is in Norway: browsing in English changes neither the destination nor the import conditions.
Your order is prepared in Barcelona and shipping is arranged through Packlink. The carrier and the collection and home-delivery service depend on the destination and the options available at checkout.
For shipments to Norway, possible import clearance costs, customs duties and destination taxes on the goods are not included in the transport charge. Check the shipping conditions before buying.
