For Skien, compare Gran Reserva Duroc and Ibérico Cebo ham in the same presentation. First decide whether to receive a whole piece or have it sliced; then check the exact reference and variant price.

Skien: two hams from different categories

Both products are hind-leg hams, but Gran Reserva Duroc is not Ibérico, while the Cebo ham belongs to the Ibérico selection. Choosing the same cutting option keeps the presentation consistent while you compare two distinct products. Do not assign a breed percentage that the Cebo product page does not state, or confuse Cebo with Bellota. A difference in price is not an automatic ranking of flavour or quality. Check each exact reference separately if ingredients, allergens, nutrition, curing or storage matter to your decision: the same anatomy and presentation do not establish that these details are shared. For a specific question, tell Paco which product and presentation you are considering. Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.

Compare whole with whole, or match the cutting service

For a whole ham, compare the two whole-piece options. If you want the ham prepared, compare machine sliced with machine sliced, or knife sliced with knife sliced. Comparing a whole Duroc piece with sliced Cebo does not isolate the category difference. On these two product pages, the €59 machine-cutting service and €70 knife-cutting service are already included in the corresponding variant price: do not add them again. Check the current price after selecting your option. The 48 hours for machine preparation and 72 hours for knife preparation describe preparation, not transport to Skien. Do not convert the weight of a bone-in piece into an assumed number of packs, servings or a guaranteed yield.

Gulset and Klyve: local references, not collection points

Skien's municipal library page mentions Gulset and Klyve in connection with neighbourhood libraries. We use only those names to recognise recipient directions: they are not collection points for our shop. Confirm street, number, postcode, doorbell name and entrance even if you know the local reference. Do not copy a library address for a private delivery. For a gift, agree who will receive it. Neither a library's presence nor an area name guarantees delivery coverage or transport time.

Before sending to Norway

Choose the product and quantity, then check shipping conditions for the actual address. Transport is arranged through Packlink and options depend on the destination. Possible import-clearance charges, customs duties and taxes on the goods are separate from transport. For a gift, agree who will receive it. Follow the pack label for storage and consumption.

What is the difference between jamón and paleta?

Jamón comes from the hind leg; paleta comes from the foreleg. Compare the weight, format and price of each product. The weight of a whole piece includes bone and outer fat.

What do the Ibérico percentage and category mean?

The percentage refers to the breed. Cebo, Cebo de Campo and Bellota describe feeding and rearing. Read the full product designation on the product page.

How does the cutting service work?

Machine slicing adds €59 per ham or €39 per shoulder ham. Hand slicing with a knife adds €70 per ham or €50 per shoulder ham. The variants show the full price. Preparation takes 48 or 72 hours respectively; transport time is additional.
