100% Ibérico Bellota ham · Product image · Paco Heredia

Choose Ibérico ham for Leuven by comparing two 80 g net Altanza plates: Bellota 100% Ibérico and free-range Cebo de Campo 50% Ibérico. Both contain hind-leg ham, machine sliced in a knife-cut style. Category and breed percentage differ, while brand, presentation and weight match. Jamones Paco Heredia can help you weigh up those differences. The direct links open each product.

Bellota 100% and Cebo de Campo 50%: two separate features

On the first plate, Bellota identifies the category and 100% Ibérico the breed percentage. On the second, Cebo de Campo is the category and 50% Ibérico the breed percentage. A price difference therefore cannot be explained by just one of those features. Cebo de Campo involves outdoor access and feeding mainly on cereals and legumes; it does not mean an exclusively acorn-based diet. Read the full product name when choosing. Both plates contain ham rather than shoulder ham. Knife-cut style describes the result of machine slicing and does not mean hand carving.

Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.

Two 80 g plates for your own tasting

Choose one plate or order both to try at the same meal. A plate of each provides 160 g net of ham. Adjust quantities to the rest of the menu; the weight does not set a fixed number of slices or portions. Keep the names so you recognise the packs on arrival. The real photograph of the packaged product identifies the purchase, while a serving image suggests an arrangement. Check ingredients, allergens, storage instructions and use-by information on each label. For a gift, also arrange who will receive it and how it will be stored.

Your order is prepared in Barcelona and shipping is arranged through Packlink. The carrier and the collection and home-delivery service depend on the destination and the options available at checkout.

For Belgium delivery, review the conditions and available options for the complete destination before ordering. A city name alone establishes neither a shipping price nor a delivery time.

Choose category and breed within the same format

Keep Altanza, ham, an 80 g net plate and the machine-sliced knife-cut style with each choice. Then distinguish Bellota 100% Ibérico from Cebo de Campo 50% Ibérico. Paco can help you compare another presentation while keeping those two criteria clear.

What is the difference between jamón and paleta?

Jamón comes from the hind leg; paleta comes from the foreleg. Compare the weight, format and price of each product. The weight of a whole piece includes bone and outer fat.

What do the Ibérico percentage and category mean?

The percentage refers to the breed. Cebo, Cebo de Campo and Bellota describe feeding and rearing. Read the full product designation on the product page.

How does the cutting service work?

Machine slicing adds €59 per ham or €39 per shoulder ham. Hand slicing with a knife adds €70 per ham or €50 per shoulder ham. The variants show the full price. Preparation takes 48 or 72 hours respectively; transport time is additional.
