Give ham its own place on your next sharing table in Almería. Altanza plates contain 80 g net of ham, machine-sliced with a knife-cut effect, ready for you to choose the product and arrange your presentation. At Jamones Paco Heredia, compare Bellota 100% Ibérico with free-range Cebo de Campo 50% Ibérico in the same plate format.
Bellota 100% or free-range Cebo de Campo 50%
Both products are Altanza hind-leg ham, with 80 g net and machine slicing in a knife-cut style. Two things change: the Bellota or Cebo de Campo category, and the 100% or 50% Ibérico breed percentage. Cebo de Campo describes outdoor-reared pigs fed mainly cereals and legumes; it is a different category from Bellota. The percentage refers to the Ibérico breed, rather than the amount of ham on the plate. A price difference therefore cannot be attributed only to breed or only to category. Start with the Bellota 100% plate if that is what you want to serve; choose the Cebo de Campo 50% product page if you prefer that category and compare the complete details.
Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.
Choose the plate, then make it your own
The knife-cut effect on both plates is created by machine slicing, not by hand carving. Presentation is one part of your choice, alongside category and quantity. Think about the rest of your food before dividing your order between the products: each plate contains 80 g net, with no fixed slice count or number of guests. For another way to organise your purchase, explore the machine-sliced ham and shoulder ham packs too. Follow the storage and consumption instructions on the product received, both before and after opening. Do not assume plates and packs have the same storage life or infer ingredients and allergens from a photograph.
