Looking for Ibérico ham for a table in Charleroi? Compare two Altanza Bellota 100% Ibérico packs of 80 g: shoulder ham and ham, both machine sliced. The brand, category, breed percentage and net weight match; the part of the animal is different. Paco Heredia can help you identify each product. Use the direct links to read its product details and check its own price before choosing.
Ham and shoulder ham: know which cut you are choosing
Shoulder ham, called paleta in Spanish, comes from the front leg; ham comes from the hind leg. Even with the same Bellota 100% Ibérico designation and an 80 g net weight, they remain different products. Keep the complete name in view, particularly when reordering a familiar product or choosing a gift. Bellota and the breed percentage describe separate details in the designation. They match in this comparison but do not make ham and shoulder ham equivalent. These packs are machine sliced. A picture of slices arranged for serving is not evidence of hand carving with a knife.
Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.
Build a selection while keeping each product identifiable
Choose shoulder ham, ham or one pack of each. Together they provide 160 g net, and you can present the products separately. That weight does not set a fixed number of slices or servings; plan quantities around the other food and how you want to serve it. Real packaging photographs identify the product, while plate pictures offer a serving suggestion. Check ingredients, allergens, storage and use-by information on the chosen pack’s label. If you prefer a whole piece or a prepared plate, open its own product page and check the format, slicing method and price.
