Building an Ibérico charcuterie board for Nova Gorica? Start with two different products that can sit alongside each other: Altanza Bellota 100% Ibérico lomo and chorizo. At Jamones Paco Heredia, both come machine-sliced in 80 g net packs. Choose each reference separately and combine the quantities to suit the table you are planning, rather than treating two different products as interchangeable packs.

Lomo and chorizo are different products

Lomo and chorizo belong to different charcuterie families. The shared Bellota 100% Ibérico designation does not make them equivalent: Bellota identifies the feeding category, while 100% refers to the Ibérico breed. These two packs share the Altanza brand, 80 g net content and machine slicing. The product type changes. Do not infer identical ingredients, allergens, strength of flavour, heat or curing from the common designation, or assign the entire price difference to one characteristic. Read each pack's product page and use its own label to check composition and storage instructions for the specific product.

Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.

Sliced packs for a charcuterie board

These products are already sliced, so there is no need to order a slicing service or prepare a whole piece at home. Keep the two references identified as you arrange the tasting, and retain their packaging while checking the instructions. You can combine several packs or add other products; check each one's net contents instead of counting every pack as if it were the same. An 80 g pack does not establish a universal serving or a fixed number of slices. If you want unsliced charcuterie, open that collection and check the weight and presentation of those references separately.
