If ham is on your menu in Palencia, first choose the format you want to receive. This guide compares an Altanza pack of Cebo 50% Ibérico ham, 80 g net, with a plate sharing its brand, category and net weight. Both contain machine-sliced hind-leg ham; the plate has a knife-cut effect. The difference here is presentation, without changing cut or category. Direct links show each reference with its own image and description. Choose your preferred format and retain the complete product name to identify the same reference next time.

One type of ham, two presentations

The pack leaves the arrangement of the slices to you; the plate offers another presentation. Knife-cut effect describes the plate’s machine-sliced finish and does not mean hand carving. If you want hand-carved ham, verify that on a specific reference. For both products here, Cebo identifies category and 50% the Ibérico breed percentage. These are separate details even when they appear together in the name. Moving from pack to plate does not turn Cebo into Bellota. Compare both product pages to assess format without assuming a change in feeding category, breed or anatomical cut.

Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.

80 g net: compare what you receive

Each reference contains 80 g net of ham, excluding the weight of packaging. One of each makes 160 g by arithmetic, not an advertised bundle or a serving recommendation. Slice count and arrangement can vary from photographs. For a wider selection, follow links to other packs and plates and check category, breed and cut again. A shoulder ham pack would be a separate foreleg reference. Read dates, storage, ingredients and allergens on the received label. Keep each product identified while you need that information, even if you serve several references together.

San Juanillo and San Miguel: full address

A municipal publication identifies San Juanillo and San Miguel as neighbourhoods of Palencia. A neighbourhood name may help orientation, but delivery needs the full street, number, floor or door and postcode. For a gift, confirm the recipient and who will accept the parcel. We prepare orders in Barcelona; preparation and transport are separate stages. Check conditions for the address before planning receipt for a meal. A neighbourhood reference alone determines neither charge, coverage nor arrival date. Always include Palencia and review the recipient’s address details before completing your purchase.

What is the difference between jamón and paleta?

Jamón comes from the hind leg; paleta comes from the foreleg. Compare the weight, format and price of each product. The weight of a whole piece includes bone and outer fat.

What do the Ibérico percentage and category mean?

The percentage refers to the breed. Cebo, Cebo de Campo and Bellota describe feeding and rearing. Read the full product designation on the product page.

How does the cutting service work?

Machine slicing adds €59 per ham or €39 per shoulder ham. Hand slicing with a knife adds €70 per ham or €50 per shoulder ham. The variants show the full price. Preparation takes 48 or 72 hours respectively; transport time is additional.
