For an appetiser in Badalona, would you choose a packaged ham plate or a regular sliced pack? Paco Heredia offers two Altanza Jamón Cebo references with 50% Ibérico breed and 80 g net content: a machine-sliced plate with a knife-cut effect and the usual machine-sliced pack. They share the ham family, Cebo category and breed percentage. Compare the declared preparation, the presentation you want and the full price of each individual pack.

The same Cebo category and 50% Ibérico breed

Both references are ham from the hind leg, rather than shoulder ham. Cebo describes feed-based rearing, while 50% refers to the Ibérico breed percentage; those are separate pieces of information. Each contains 80 g net of food and carries the Altanza brand within the Jamones Paco Heredia selection. Choosing a plate does not change Cebo into acorn-fed Bellota, and the higher-priced format does not establish a higher breed percentage. Read each full product name to identify the actual difference in declared slicing and packaging. The current individual price is shown on its product page.

Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.

A knife-cut effect is still machine slicing

The plate is machine-sliced with a knife-cut effect; it is not described as hand carving. The regular pack is also machine-sliced, with its own presentation. Choose a packaged plate or arrange the regular pack's slices yourself, without buying a whole ham. Equal net content does not guarantee an identical number of slices because their size and thickness can vary. Serving images suggest a presentation rather than replacing the pack information. Pick the units you need, open what you intend to serve and store unopened packs according to their labels. Use the actual date and storage instructions on each reference rather than assuming one fixed shelf life for all packs.

Arrange delivery to the full Badalona address

The municipal district page lists Centre and Casagemes among its neighbourhood names. If the recipient uses one of those names, include it as an additional reference alongside the full address. Supply the street, building number, floor or door, postcode, Badalona and Spain, with someone available to receive the parcel. Check the conditions for that actual address before payment. If the order is for a dated gathering, contact the shop ahead of time: proximity to Barcelona alone does not confirm a shipping charge or an arrival day.

What is the difference between jamón and paleta?

Jamón comes from the hind leg; paleta comes from the foreleg. Compare the weight, format and price of each product. The weight of a whole piece includes bone and outer fat.

What do the Ibérico percentage and category mean?

The percentage refers to the breed. Cebo, Cebo de Campo and Bellota describe feeding and rearing. Read the full product designation on the product page.

How does the cutting service work?

Machine slicing adds €59 per ham or €39 per shoulder ham. Hand slicing with a knife adds €70 per ham or €50 per shoulder ham. The variants show the full price. Preparation takes 48 or 72 hours respectively; transport time is additional.
