100% Ibérico Bellota ham · Product image · Paco Heredia

A sharing board in Lugo can begin with two different products: Altanza Bellota 100% Ibérico lomo and chorizo in machine-sliced packs of 80 g net. Brand, declared category, breed percentage, weight and format match; product family differs. Neither is ham or shoulder ham, and they should not be treated as interchangeable versions of one cut. The linked product pages let you choose each pack separately and build your own selection. Keep the complete reference if you would like to return to the same product for another occasion.

Choose lomo and chorizo on their own terms

The main difference here is product family. Lomo and chorizo have their own pages and labels; sharing Bellota and 100% Ibérico does not make them the same preparation. The percentage describes Ibérico breed, while Bellota identifies the declared category. For ingredients, spices, allergens or storage, use the specific pack rather than carrying information from one product to the other. A photograph helps illustrate a serving idea but cannot replace the description. Choose how many packs of each you want to explore without assuming that a photograph establishes a fixed number of servings.

Compare cebo, cebo de campo and bellota on the product pages. The Ibérico percentage describes the breed; the category describes feeding and husbandry. Gran Reserva Duroc is a separate selection and is not Ibérico.

Packs for your own sharing board

Each pack contributes 80 g net, excluding packaging. One lomo and one chorizo total 160 g net by arithmetic, not an advertised bundle. Both are machine sliced; the format does not imply hand slicing. The distinct format links also let you compare whole charcuterie pieces, checking each product’s details before switching presentation. Weights and slice counts are not automatically equivalent. Read dates and storage instructions on the received label and plan opening around your meal. Retain the product information while you still need it to handle what you bought.

A Milagrosa and Feijoo: complete the Lugo address

The municipal Plan Rehabilita Milagrosa y Barrio Feijoo page names these two Lugo neighbourhoods. Use them as local context alongside street, number, floor or door, postcode and municipality. For a gift, confirm the recipient and who can accept the parcel. We prepare the order in Barcelona; preparation and transport are separate stages. Check conditions for the complete address before arranging reception for a planned meal. A neighbourhood name does not establish a shipping charge, delivery coverage or an arrival date. Full address details are more useful than an isolated local reference when planning your selection.

What is the difference between jamón and paleta?

Jamón comes from the hind leg; paleta comes from the foreleg. Compare the weight, format and price of each product. The weight of a whole piece includes bone and outer fat.

What do the Ibérico percentage and category mean?

The percentage refers to the breed. Cebo, Cebo de Campo and Bellota describe feeding and rearing. Read the full product designation on the product page.

How does the cutting service work?

Machine slicing adds €59 per ham or €39 per shoulder ham. Hand slicing with a knife adds €70 per ham or €50 per shoulder ham. The variants show the full price. Preparation takes 48 or 72 hours respectively; transport time is additional.
