- 4 wheat tortillas, about 20 cm
- 200 g drained shredded or crumbled mozzarella
- 300 g tomato
- 80 g sliced cured ham
- Pepper to taste
Step-by-step method
- Wash and dry the tomato. Remove stalks, slice thinly and leave excess juice aside. Divide cheese, tomato and ham into four portions.
- Heat one tortilla in a dry pan over medium-low heat. Add its mozzarella portion and briefly cover to melt, about 1–2 minutes. Also follow the pack’s heating directions and avoid burning the base.
- Move to a plate, add tomato and ham, pepper if liked and fold in half. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and serve immediately without reheating the ham.

Dry mozzarella and tomato well to keep the tortilla from becoming soggy. If cheese melts slowly, use smaller pieces and lower the heat.
Contains wheat and milk; check tortilla and ham labels for other allergens. Egg is not an added ingredient. The 15-minute estimate assumes preparing fillings while heating the bases.
